It’s the ambience… You walk into The Casablanca Room at our Santa Cruz Inn and immediately your eyes are drawn to the beauty of sand, sea and sky framed by 180º of picture windows. Complementing nature’s colors, the décor is a subtle light sand and blue that defers to the magnificent view. The Bistro Bar
Did we say gourmet lunch, casual ambience and an up close view?... Just a few steps above the beach, the Bistro Bar offers an intimate setting for lunch and a view of the bay with an entertaining foreground of "people, flying pelicans, the occasional train, beach volley ball games, woodies, etc."
Graced with an historic mahogany bar, golden walls, ceiling fan evoking "Casablanca" and flooring that accommodates sandy shoes, it is perfect for lunch or Happy Hour. Unique salads, imaginative small plates and superb cheeseburgers are prepared by Chef Bob Burns If you are fortunate, you just may be able to get a seat on the outdoor patio, quite possibly the best place in Santa Cruz to see and be seen.
